How to Find Someone's Wrist Size as a Surprise Gift

Buying a bracelet as a surprise means you can't just ask — but there are a few reliable ways to estimate size without tipping anyone off.

Borrow an existing bracelet or watch. If they already wear one, lay it flat and measure its full length with a ruler. A watch strap works the same way — measure it at the hole they normally use.

Use a shirt sleeve as a rough guide. Measuring the circumference of a buttoned shirt cuff and subtracting a few centimeters gets you in the right range, though it's the least precise of these three methods.

When in doubt, go with Medium. It's the size that fits the widest range of average adult wrists comfortably, and is the safest single guess if none of the above is possible.

Full sizing details, including exact inch/cm ranges for every size, are in the Size Guide on each bracelet's product page.
